What is a LinkedIn MCP server?

An MCP (Model Context Protocol) server gives AI assistants like Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor a set of tools they can call. The SalesMix MCP server exposes LinkedIn outreach as tools, so an agent can build sequences, enroll leads, read replies and draft messages through your SalesMix workspace.

Which AI clients work with the SalesMix MCP server?

Any client that supports remote MCP servers over HTTP, including Claude (desktop, web and Claude Code), Cursor and agents you build yourself with an MCP client library.

Can the agent send LinkedIn messages without my approval?

Only if you allow it. By default, messages the agent writes go to the Approvals queue, where a person approves, edits or skips them. You can relax that per sequence once you trust the output.

Is giving an AI agent access to LinkedIn safe?

The agent never gets your LinkedIn password or session. It works through SalesMix, so every action still respects each account’s daily limits, working hours and approval rules, and every draft is labeled with the agent or key that wrote it. You can revoke the key at any time.

Does using the MCP server cost extra?

No. The MCP server is included on every plan at no extra cost, with no per-call fees.

What’s the difference between the MCP server and the API?
