Well, I started my career as a corporate guy. After 20 years of office politics, I decided to part ways with my corporate master and start my own company. You know how that goes. The owner gets to work half days (mine were usually 6AM to 6PM) and time away from work was usually spent doing cool stuff – like thinking about work.

The real fun started when a fortune 500 company decided that I was a thorn in their side and they made it a point to run me out of business. I wasn’t able to match their corporate marketing budget and sure enough, they won that battle. They did not, however, win the war.

I had to regroup, shut down my brick & mortar operation and move my company online. This was a very painful and expensive experience that I swore that I would NEVER repeat. That’s when I got serious about internet marketing.

I have also made it my personal mission to show other small business owners how to use the internet to beat their corporate competitors’ silly. The best way for this to work, would be if the business owners investment could be limited to sweat equity. That’s what this website is all about.
